Manufactured by Swienty. National Poly Hive includes: Roof, Queen Excluder (Plastic Harmless or Wire Framed), Innercover, Varroa floor with mesh(needs to be tacked in place), Inspection Tray and Alighting Board, 2 Supers and 14 x 12 Brood Box with runners (in the flat). No glue needed as supers and brood box inter lock to form a tight seal.
Density of polystyrene 100g/liter & 45mm thick. Bottom bee space. Paint with Sandex Masonry Paint on the outside to prolong the life expectancy of the hive for up to 30 years. The poly hive parts are inter changeable/compatible with National wooden hive parts.
